911 | In March 1993 we made a short trip to Sweden to catch some winter – ASG activities. We start in Göteborg at the ASG terminal, but did not see too much movement, as it was in the weekend. The snow was giving a nice look and at 0:40 we see a nice double axis Scania being parked. We move to Oskarshamn, where the snow was partly melted and here there was much more going on. A Scania truck with nice paint job had some troubles getting on the road, but managed. After a round trip, it returned to pick up a trailer. This time the extra weight of the trailer gave it more trouble getting away (lots of slipping action), but after some back and forth, it managed to get away. Next we see a Scania trailer with truck parts (probably for Zwolle) and some nice ASG trucks passing by on the terminal. We move back to Helsingborg and catch two ASG trucks on the way back. The last one was the ASG Exact ‘bus’ that was allowed to drive a bit faster (I believe it was 100 km p\h). The last location is Helsingborg, where the snow was gone, but the activity was nice. We see a ERT trailer passing by and many ASG trucks arriving and leaving the terminal in the harbor. Then it was time to get on the boat back to The Netherlands (Helsingborg – Helsinggør) and wait three months before we would be back. |
