| 99 | The first part of the video from our rail trip to Sweden in June 2006. After a nice trip from The Netherlands to Sweden we start in Udevalla on the parking place Ödsmålsbron on the E6 between Göteborg and Uddevalla where we spot a freight train driving in the direction of Göteborg. After that we go to the Laxsjöns campsite Friluftsgård nearby Billingsfors, where the DVVJ railway is crossing the entrance road to the campsite. The two Y7's railcars that make several trips from Bentsfors to Mellerud every day are first spotted at the (famous) bridge of Håverud and we follow them to Långbron where the old bridge is still in operation. They pass by the campsite and are picked up at Billingsfors station. The next day, we see the two Y7's leave Bengtsfors where the DVVJ has their 'home depot' and we see two departures from the beautiful situated station of Dåls Långed. The last part is shot at Mellerud where the two railcars drive through the grain fields before arriving at Mellerud where the large layout shows a very active past. |
