3146 On 31-7-2015 I visited the station of Älmhult to film the trains there.
Due to the summer holiday it was not as busy as usual, but still I caught some nice trains.
We start with Green Cargo Rc4 (1273) with a train from the south. The driver took a break in Älmhult before leaving north.
Next we see a X2000 speeding through the station followed by the Öresundståg X31 nr 4360 and the 4569 in the opposite direction.
The station of Älmhult is about the be renovated and the crossing between the two tracks will disappear in the new station. Nice to document this part of the history of the station.
Next the Hector Rail 242 504 speeds by with a passenger train south, followed by another X2000 and the postal train North (filmed from the viaduct).
We catch the X11 3173 from Krösatågen, a X2000 and two more X11’s (3170 and 3184) and the Railpool 185 692-1 hired by CargoNet coming in from the south with a (very) short Huckepack train.
Next the X31 nr 4564 makes its stop at Älmhult with the 4554 returning from the south a little later.
It is getting (too) dark when I catch two Green Cargo Rc4’s with a long freight train south and after that I decide to leave for the campsite.
